YOUTHS of Granville Seventh-day Adventist Church honoured the global youth day by hosting an outreach programme to share the love of God at Evedahana Market Nine-Mile cemetery, Port Moresby.
Church elder Mackson Kisambo while preaching, encouraged the people to accept Jesus.
“Life on Earth is temporary but life in heaven with Jesus will be for eternity,” he said
“Jesus sacrificed his life on the Calvary and died for us and that shows that He loves us so what we all need to do is to give our lives back to him.”
Kisambo said love implies that the youths must take action and that is to go out and share the love of God to neighbours, communities and streets not only through preaching the word of God but provide food, clothes and other items to the needy and vulnerable.
“God feeds the thousands of animals around world but we human beings are special in his eyes.”
The elder’s message focused on accepting Jesus and spreading the love of God.
As a way of sharing the love of God, the youths gave out literatures such as Bibles, great controversy, ministry of healing, old lesson books and other Christians books as well as toiletries to the people.
The global youth day was celebrated globally in every SDA church around the world.
